Sandeep completed his B.Com Hons and could not control his entrepreneurial instincts. He ventured into business and was associated with leading brands in the country acting as Dealer for the products of Bajaj, Honda, Godrej,
Burroughs, NCR etc.
The last mentioned company dealership changed his track over the years. He ventured into banking related areas through the scanning of documents and cheques and then, naturally diversified into other areas of banking. Slowly,
banking became BFSI focused and he started offering services to insurance, broking and NBFCs as well. At the same time, he also ventured into a direct contract with VFS for their in-plant work and thus began a long and
growing relationship. He is known for building strong relationships and this can be seen from the fact that many clients have not left SmartData ever since they became customers—the penetration has only increased with additional
geography.
His thirst for doing things in a different manner also led him into the Revenue Management activity for Utility companies and thus was born the Kiosk/ATPMs. With his knowledge of scan machines, he ventured into service contracts
for scanners and then moved on to POS machines and ATMs. He has a huge appetite for growth and this resulted in the take-over of a business from Matrix which had a lot of synergy—geographically as well as on the product
offerings. His vision for diversification has actually helped the company, as it is unaffected even during the worst recessionary period for the BFSI industry.
Sandeep adopts an absolutely hands-off management attitude and is known for taking decisions at amazing speed. This speed to market has also been a factor for clients to not look beyond SmartData, apart from other efficiency
factors.

A product of IIT Madras, he comes with over forty three years of varied managerial experience, in the electronics and information technology industry.
He joined Philips India and spent a good 16 years holding senior positions in their Scientific and Industrial Equipment division. Later he joined Tata Burroughs and spent the rest of his career in the group. He headed the BFSI
vertical and was responsible for sales. Before retiring, he was the General Manager of their Systems Integration Division.

V Krishnamachari graduated as Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University.
He is a fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and also an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretary of India. He has over 21 years of experience beginning with career in corporate finance
and moved on to head the Finance function for an MNC in Freight Forwarding Industry. He has developed his skills in the area of systems, procedures and accounting processes and also involved in the implementation of ERP
systems. He then moved to work with one of the leading law firms in India (Luthra & Luthra) as a consultant in the areas of Corporate laws, wherefrom he worked as consultant in the areas of corporate laws, study and improvement
of Accounting processes and has joined the Company to strengthen the management team.
